The Pink Heal Tour visits Ashley on Monday, November 12, 20112.

Ashley went to Phoenix Children's Hospital this morning to get the results of her MRI that was done Friday afternoon. Results were not what we have been praying for, more tumor growth has developed. New tumors are more like fluid cyst in the midbrain. We will start her on a new chemo depending if her ANC counts go up next week. We continue to pray for our daughter that she will fight this awful disease.

Ashley is doing well with the feeding tube. She now has had it in for a little over two weeks. It is making it a little more easier on her as she can get nutrition as well as, her medications & chemo through the feeding tube.

On Sunday, October 7th we did the “2012 Walk for Hope” in Phoenix. It was a long day, but Ashley was such a trooper being awaken at 4:00 a.m. for mom to start her feedings before leaving. She stayed awake for the entire walk which shows how strong our little girl is to not miss such an important event. Tuesday, October 9th Ashley went into Phoenix Children’s Hospital to get her monthly blood counts to start chemo. Counts came back good and we started chemo this past Friday. Wednesday, October 10th she had a hospice pediatric massage therapist come and work on her legs, arms and neck. Those areas of her body seem to be the most problem areas that she has pain. On Thursday, October 11th she had her shower nurse come in which Ashley did not want to get out of bed so we did a bed bath and the hospice social worker and nurse also came over that day for a visit. Saturday, October 13th we all ventured out for a movie date with three very dear friends of ours Mary Belfiore Schramm, Becca Embree, Irma Solar and her two beautiful daughters to see “Hotel Transylvania.” Ashley gave us a thumbs up at the end of the movie. We continue to fight this battle together for Ashley and thank you all for your continuous support and prayers.

Today Ashley will be going to "Ryan House" to get a feeding tube inserted and will stay with mom for up to 72 hours at this facility. She's been loosing to much weight over the last few months and this procedure is necessary at this point. Please continue praying for Ashley to keep her strong through her battle with cancer.

We are sorry for not being on top of up-dating Ashley’s profile. It’s been such a crazy month with visitors, “Make-A-Wish” trip to California, hospice visits to her home, doctors appointments and Trevor starting the sixth grade at Canyon Springs in Anthem.

Ashley’s Birthday party turned out great last month! Many of her friends came to celebrate her BIG 13th birthday. Jasmine, her best friend since pre-school stayed over the weekend with her making it even better! One of our good friends, Brian and Crystal Merrick rented a slip and slide for Ashley. Mary Belford made Ashley one of the most amazing surfer decorated cakes and Rookies restaurant in Anthem donated food for the party. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it an unforgettable day celebrating our daughter’s birthday.

Ashley has started her chemo back up on Sunday, September 16th. She will continue this chemo for 21 days and will get one week off and will continue this cycle until further notice. We’ve noticed that she has been staying awake for much longer periods of time which of course is great. She is still consuming mostly liquid foods and we are now at the point of seriously considering a feeding tube for Ashley due to her weight loss.

Recently, “We Care of Anthem” has made available a personal sticker for Ashley (see picture). Mom and Dad have placed them on our car windshields to show our support. Feel free to contact us on Ashley’s support page under messages to provide us with your address if you would like one. All proceeds go towards Ashley's ongoing medical and other necessary expenses.

Thank you for all of your continued support and prayers. They have made such a difference in our everyday lives. God Bless You!

Renee, Stefan, Ashley and Trevor Moore
